Date & Location: Saturday April 5th, 2008 Lutsen

Snow & Weather: 44 degrees Bluebird spring conditions

Vertical feet & runs: 16,330 feet 25 runs

Season total: 331,400 feet 475 runs

Comments: Rode with CJ and Glen. They are my hard core riders. We did a last minute end of the season Lutsen trip. The snow was great spring conditions. We rode fast and hard all day! I got sunburned! We got to do the super steep runs under the Bridge Chair since they weren't "ice walls" like they are during the season. It was an AWESOME day! Oh I almost forgot we almost ran over a timberwolf on the drive up last night. Jeff rode good ole #4 today. Now we are gonna join the Polar Bear Club...stay tuned.

CJ: Brought out the Oregon Ducks board this weekend. Next season is going to be fun with that board. It was nice out today and still pretty decent snow. I started and finished the season at Lutsen this year. Lots of fun with fun peeps. Matt can't add to the blog after he's done writing!

Glen: I rocked the slush. CJ installed a NOS on his good ole #4. We even saw 24 cock, Al Jefferson, and a chupa cabra on the way up. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Polar Bear addendum:

Matt: YES! CJ and I joined the Polar Bear Club. We swam in the balmy 38 degree waters of Lake Superior. There were icebergs in the water. It was totally rad! Good job CJ! CJ tried to drown me and hold me under the water. What a jerk!

CJ: Jumping in Lake Superior wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I would totally do it again somewhere that was less rocky. Props to Glen for being the videographer.
