Comments: Rode with Greg. "39 Days One SURVIVOR" Yes I rode 39 days for the season. It was the last day of the season for real this time. I am sore from yesterday, not fatigue sore but impact sore from the tumble I took after the snow snake incident. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Riding with my buddy Greg in Lutsen powder then spring conditions. THANKS GREG!!! It was so awesome to open and close the season at Lutsen with POW POW! My face got sun burned again. Check out the photo also check out the photos of "sad Greg" and "sad Matt" right before we take our last turns of the season. We saw Tele Mike, his wife Karen, Bill (mullet guy) and Annette from Welch today. BEST DAMN SEASON EVER!!!
Greg: Last night yours truly hit the wall hard. My cold flared up and after trying super hard my body said " I've had enough!!" and hit the brakes. I was so wiped out I could barely eat. There is light at the end of the tunnel though. I woke up today feeling much better. Matt and I hit the Lutsen Resort for an awesome breakfast buffet. We pulled on our boots for the last time this year and hit Moose Access. Fast snow. Rode hard. We were riding so hard that people on the chairlift were getting whiplash as we rocketed by. We saw the Welch Mountain gang (Mike, Bill, Annette and Karen) and Matt got attacked once again by the snow snake and fell right in front of everyone. After a handful of runs we did Moose Return back to Eagle. Halfway back we had to stop for a photo shoot- see pictures- We had awesome runs on Eagle until lift lines got out of hand. Matt had to chastize a couple of skiers who cut us off in the lift line, he said "I guess 1980s straight skis get to go first!!" to which the girl totally apologized and we felt kind of bad. Last run down Bridge and we ended the wonderful 2007-2008 season there. Thanks again Matt for making me go this weekend. FUN FUN FUN!!!
